Edwina Bartholomew is a journalist with over 11 years experience working in Television and Radio. In that time, she has covered everything from courts to crime to crocodile egg collecting in the Northern Territory.
Edwina enjoys one of the most diverse roles at the Seven Network. The 32 year old is currently the weather presenter on Sunrise, co-host of Dancing with the Stars; she reports for Seven Sport and has filed longer investigative stories for the network's flagship current affairs program, Sunday Night.
Never one to shy away from adventure, Edwina has skydived, bungee jumped and abseiled off a 33 storey building all LIVE on air. Her work has taken her to Peru, Canada, the US, Mexico, Dubai, Spain, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, New Zealand - and right around Australia on a continuous 40,000km 'Lap of the Map'.
Edwina completed her journalism degree at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst and later studied a Master of International Relations at Sydney University. She won her very first job with Sunrise in a competition in 2003. Since then, Edwina has done pretty much every role on the show from making coffee to producing to hosting.
Edwina has also worked as a reporter for Prime News Orange, Radio 2GB and Seven News Sydney.
Born in the South Australian mining town of Whyalla, Edwina spent her early years living in Japan and Malaysia. She now technically lives in Sydney but spends most of her time on the road.
