NOMINATE NOW - FLORIST AWARDS
ABOUT
The 2025 Fresh Awards will recognise NSW and ACT florists across a range of categories.
The process is as follows:
- Previous registrations roll-over to this year. If you’re new to the program or require a change to your existing registration details, please email Shirlene Ronniger at mco@sydneymarkets.com and include your business name and address, contact person, phone number and email address.
- All applicants will be mystery shopped 3 times from November 2024 – April 2025 without prior notice
- Semi-finalists are mystery shopped on one more occasion to help determine the finalists
- Finalists will be announced in May, 2025
Applicants will be judged on:
- Store appearance
- Customer service
- Product quality, range and freshness
- Merchandising and branding
Participating businesses will be given a copy of the first two rounds of mystery shopping reports which includes the shopper's feedback, comments and observations.
FLORIST AWARD CATEGORIES
The 2025 Fresh Awards will recognise florists across a range of categories. The Florist Awards include:
- FLORIST OF THE YEAR - This prestigious award will be given to the florist finalist who achieves the highest-ranking average score for each section across all mystery shopping rounds.
- Service Excellence - This award will be presented to the business that achieves the highest-ranking average score in customer service across all mystery shopping rounds.
- Retail Presentation – This award recognizes the business that achieves the highest-ranking average score in store presentation and appearance across all mystery shopping rounds.
- Merchandising and Branding Excellence – This award will be given to the business that achieves the highest-ranking average score in merchandising and branding categories across all mystery shopping rounds.
- Non-retail/Studio Florist Award – This award recognises a floral business for its originality, creativity, and visual composition. It will be presented to the business that achieves the highest score in non-retail/studio floristry, as assessed by an independent panel of judges.
Key Dates
- Finalists will be announced May, 2025.
- Winners will be announced at the 2025 Fresh Awards on Friday 18th July, 2025.
